Black Rear 1 1/4 Buffalo Frame Crash Engine Guard Bar 97-13 Harley Touring FLT
Engine bar set features left and right sides with 1-1/4 tubing. Does not allow the use of clamp on saddlebag guards. WARNING: This engine/frame bar may provide limited leg and cosmetic vehicle protection under unique circumstances (fall over while stopped, very low speed slide). They are not made nor intended to provide protection from bodily injury in a collision with an automobile or any other object. These are 1 1/4' in diameter, where your stock ones are 7/8'.
They make a huge improvement in the looks of your bike. These do not have the holes drilled for the rails that go along the side of the saddlebag, but they do have a stub for the bottom saddlebag support. NOTE: On 2009 and Newer Models you will need to cut/custom fit the existing saddlebag supports so that they slide inside the mounting stubs on these guard rails. We do not supply instructions on how to do this.
